The youngest, and best looking, of the Go Higher sons, Alasdair has developed his skills throughout his travels in the UK, Europe, Australasia and America.
Experience/Career History
Alasdair has travelled and climbed extensively having made expeditions to the Alps, Himalayas, Rockies and Andes. He is an accomplished all-round rock climber, skier and mountaineer.
Qualifications
Alasdair has a degree in Environmental Science from the University of
Sheffield (he managed to squeeze his studies in between his Peak District
training sessions). Mountaineering qualifications include:
- Mountain Leadership Award (ML),
- Single Pitch Award (SPA),
- Mountaineering First Aid.
He is a trainee member of the AMI and currently pursuing his MIA certification.
Favourite Activities
I'm afraid that he just likes to play in the mountains; on the rock, ice and snow.
